Guillermo Giron is a master’s student in the Global Urban Health program at the University of Freiburg, supporting research on sustainable food systems and climate resilience. With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Central American University of El Salvador and professional experience in power distribution systems and industrial maintenance, Guillermo contributes to research on sustainable methods for mitigating heat extremes in food service environments in southern Germany.
