Abdul Tawab Balakarzai is a PhD candidate in the Community Water Innovation Lab (Department of Geography) and a graduate student research fellow with the Water Innovation & Global Governance Lab at the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria. With his substantial experience in higher-education leadership, water governance, and policy reform, he brings a combination of academic expertise and public-sector leadership to research and institutional governance.
