Samuel Discher completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics at the University of Freiburg. During this time, he worked in the Sansone group on a split-and-delay unit for the temporal delay of two pulses in pump–probe measurements.
In 2026, he began his PhD with the goal of generating broadband pulses in the single-cycle regime in order to produce isolated attosecond pulses in the XUV range.
