Barbara completed her studies in Russia, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nuclear and particle physics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2021, she began her doctorate in attosecond physics in the research group of Prof. Giuseppe Sansone at the University of Freiburg. Since January 2022, she has been a member of the “Graduiertenkolleg (GRK)” (Graduate Research Training Group). Her work focuses on investigating ultrafast electronic dynamics in small molecules using reaction microscopes to conduct coincidence experiments with high-repetition-rate attosecond pulses.
