Providing Transparency and Trust in Business and Society – Financial Accounting & Auditing is more than just bookkeeping and conducting traditional audits! In line with this credo, the department focuses its research and teaching on the intersection of (financial) reporting and auditing as part of corporate governance, as well as their effects on capital markets—particularly in the context of SMEs. Current developments such as the increasing digitalization of reporting and auditing, as well as the “war for talent,” are also areas of focus.
