Our core ideas

Our research thematically covers the areas of traditional accounting, financial and sustainability reporting, as well as corporate governance and auditing. Methodologically, we primarily follow an quantitative empirical approach, with a strong focus on theory-driven analysis of large datasets. The transfer of academic insights into business practice and engagement with current regulatory developments are also key components of our application-oriented research.
