Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources
Our team conducts research in the field of planetary tectonics, impact research and rock mechanics. The aim is to understand dynamic geological processes on Earth and other planetary bodies. The methodological spectrum ranges from classical field work and electron microscopy to experimental methods and remote sensing.
Geology is taught across the board in the Bachelor’s degree. In the Master’s degree, students specialize in crater research, planetary geology and rock mechanics.
