Das MSCA COFUND-Programm unterstützt sowohl bestehende als auch neue regionale, nationale und internationale Programme, die die Ausbildung , Mobilität und Karriereentwicklung entweder von DoktorandInnen oder von PostdoktorandInnen stärken sollen. Diese Fördermaßnahme richtet sich an die Einrichtungen in EU-Mitgliedstaaten oder assoziierten Staaten.

MSCA Staff Exchanges
MSCA Staff Exchange fördert internationale und intersektorale Kooperationen durch den gegenseitigen Austausch von Personal. Ziel ist es, die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Einrichtungen aus dem akademischen und dem nicht-akademischen Bereich sowie zwischen Europa und Drittländern zu stärken. Die Laufzeit eines Staff Exchange beträgt maximal 4 Jahre.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships
Die Marie Sklodowska-Curie Maßnahme (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships fördert Forschungsprojekte von erfahrenen Wissenschaftler*innen an Forschungseinrichtungen innerhalb und außerhalb Europas. Sie unterteilen sich in European Postdoctoral Fellowships und Global Postdoctoral Fellowships. Auf Postdoctoral Fellowships können sich Forschende bewerben, deren Promotion maximal acht Jahre (Stichtag Einreichfrist) zurückliegt.
Für beide Linien gilt die Mobilitätsregel, nach der die Forschenden in den 3 Jahren vor Einreichfrist nicht länger als 12 Monate im Land der Gasteinrichtung gelebt oder gearbeitet haben dürfen. Bei den Global Postdoctoral Fellowships gilt als Referenz die Gasteinrichtung der „outgoing phase“.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action Doctoral Networks
MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) fördern die strukturierte Doktorandenausbildung in Netzwerken aus mehreren europäischen Einrichtungen. Die Doctoral Networks werden in drei Varianten (Doctoral Networks – DN, Industrial Doctorates – ID, Joint Doctorates – JD) angeboten. Die Laufzeit eines Doctoral Networks beträgt maximal 4 Jahre für DN und ID und maximal 5 Jahre für JD.

Proof of Concept Grants des ERC
Der Proof of Concept des ERC ist ein ergänzender Grant zu den ERC Forschungsgrants. Er richtet sich an Forscher:innen, die bereits einen ERC Grant innehaben und ein Forschungsergebnis aus ihrem laufenden oder kürzlich abgeschlossenen Projekt (max. vor 1 Jahr beendet) vorkommerziell verwerten möchten. Je Projekt können bis zu 150.000 EUR für max. 18 Monate beantragt werden. Nächste Einreichfrist ist der 18.09.2025.
Advanced Grants des ERC
Um die Advanced Grants des ERC können sich erfahrene Wissenschaftler/innen bewerben, die über die zurückliegenden 10 Jahre wesentliche Forschungserfolge nachweisen können. Als Beleg kann unter anderem die Anzahl der Publikationen bzw. Patente, die Beteiligung an Konferenzen oder die Verleihung von Wissenschaftspreisen herangezogen werden. Die Finanzierung soll der Förderung innovativer Forschung an den „Grenzen des Wissens“ dienen, wobei Projekte aller Fachgebiete gefördert werden können und Forschungsanträge interdisziplinärer Natur begrüßt werden. Die Höchstförderung je Projekt liegt in der Regel bei 2,5 Millionen EUR über einen Fünfjahreszeitraum. Einreichfrist ist der 28.08.2025.
Starting Grants des ERC
Die Starting-Grants des ERC sollen Wissenschaftler:innen in frühen Karrierephasen die notwendigen Mittel zum Start in die Unabhängigkeit durch Gründung oder Konsolidierung einer eigenen Arbeitsgruppe zur Verfügung stellen. Die Finanzierung dient der Förderung innovativer Forschung an den „Grenzen des Wissens“, wobei Projekte aller Fachgebiete gefördert werden können. Um die Starting Grants können sich Forscher: innen bewerben, deren Promotion zwischen 2 und 7 Jahre zurückliegt. Die Höchstförderung je Projekt mit 5-jähriger Laufzeit liegt in der Regel bei max. 1,5 Mio. EUR. Einreichfrist ist der 14.10.2025
ERC Synergy Grants
Zielgruppe der ERC Synergy Grants sind Teams von zwei bis vier Forschenden. Die Projekte sollen zu Entdeckungen an den Schnittstellen zwischen etablierten Disziplinen und zu substantiellen Fortschritten an den Grenzen des Wissens führen. Die Projekte sollen nur durch die Zusammenarbeit der benannten Forscherinnen und Forscher möglich sein. Es muss also deutlich sein, warum das Vorhaben nur durch diese Zusammenarbeit sinnvoll und erfolgversprechend ist. Die Förderung kann für bis zu 6 Jahre beantragt werden, das maximale Budget liegt in der Regel bei 10 Mio. EUR.
