Business Division Structure and Development
The Business Division Structure and Development supports the decision-making process on matters related to the structural and organisational development of the Faculty of Medicine and its implementation.
Who we are and what we do:
- We are the point of contact and facilitators for the faculty’s executive board, its professors, researchers as well as employees regarding questions on the organisational structure and administrative issues concerning the faculty, the University of Freiburg (UFR) and the Medical Center – University of Freiburg (UKF).
- We draft and put together the Structure and Development Plan of the faculty and UKF (STEP MED) and the faculty’s plan as part of the Structure and Development Plan of the UFR (StEP)
- We run the Office of the Commission on Strategy and Development of the Faculty of Medicine and the UKF.
- We initiate the appointment procedure (application phase) and prepare the structural questionnaire for new and re-appointments of the faculty’s W-Professors
- We coordinate the university elections at the faculty and ensure that these are conducted properly.
The office of the Commission on Strategy and Development (StratKo) is part of the Business Division Structure and Development of the Dean’s Office Administration of the Faculty of Medicine.
