Courses
The StudiTZ offers various courses during the semester. The majority of the courses are led by tutors, but doctors also offer courses in the StudiTZ.
Themed rooms
Our themed rooms are perfect for practicing practical skills on medical simulation models and anatomical models.
The themed rooms can also be visited in small groups. For this, one person must register in advance. The themed rooms are located on the 1st floor of the Medical Teaching Building.

- Heart/Lung Room
- Puncture/Intubation Room
- Sonography Room
- Eye/Ear, Nose, Throat/Dermatology Room
- Urology/Gynecology Room
- Surgery/Orthopedics/Neurology Room
Supervised practice
As part of supervised practice, you have the opportunity to further develop your sonographic skills in the area of the abdomen. The tutors provide valuable tips, helpful tricks and answers to your questions.
It is recommended to bring along a person to be scanned. If reciprocal practice is planned, it is advisable to book several sessions consecutively. In order to conserve resources, you are welcome to bring one or two towels for the ultrasound gel.
For individuals without prior experience in sonography, it is advisable to attend a sonography course beforehand in order to become familiar with the basic techniques.
