Working Together to Shape Medical Education
Educational Development at the Faculty of Medicine focuses on two key areas, each represented by a multiprofessional team working in close collaboration.
The Curriculum Development Team supports the transformation of medical education as a central point of coordination. It connects teaching staff across superordinate subject areas, addresses the development of assessments and examination formats, and ensures the integration of core competencies throughout the degree programme. We support you in creating teaching and learning materials, in developing and evaluating new courses and content, and in coordinating the alignment of teaching activities.
The Faculty’s Digitalisation Team supports you in all matters relating to digital teaching and the learning platforms medicAL and ILIAS. We are also your point of contact for developing e-learning materials, working with the VR Lab in the educational building, and for questions regarding data protection in digital teaching and the integration of digital competencies into the curriculum. Our services also include small-scale programming tasks, the development of short VR scenarios or AR applications, and web design.
