Short bio
Junyi Yang is a research associate and lecturer at the Institute of Chinese Studies at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, where she began her role in September 2024. Her current research focuses on work ethics of Chinese employees. She holds a Master of Arts in Modern China Studies from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, with a thesis on fandom and nationalism in China’s cyberspace, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and Psychology from Peking University. Yang has also gained industry experience at Honor Devices and Burson in Beijing.
