Welcome to the puzzles of particle physics
The aim of theoretical particle physics is to find a mathematical description of the fundamental building blocks of our Universe and to apply this description to calculate predictions that can be tested experimentally. The Standard Model of particle physics provides such a description that works extremely well, however, leaves some fundamental puzzles unsolved. Therefore, extensions of the Standard Model are investigated.
Research
We study different extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics. Our research includes the investigation of conceptual problems within a specific extension, providing precise predictions, as well as studies of the viability of these models.
