The Faculty of Economics and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Freiburg invites applications for a Full Professorship (W 3) for Public Economics (NF Raffelhüschen) in the Department of Economics.

Description

This professorship is particularly suitable for highly qualified early career researchers.

 

The future chair holder is expected to represent the field of public economics in both research and teaching. The application of the latest theoretical and, derived from this, empirical or experimental methods to modern topics in public finance, particularly in the field of tax theory, are expected. In teaching, the chair holder should cover the entire breadth of the field of public economics in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The ability and willingness to teach in English is expected.

 

Prerequisites for the employment of Professors are a university degree, an outstanding dissertation and an excellent publication record. Substantial achievements and experience in academic research and teaching, at the level of a Habilitation according to the German academic system, are expected.
