The University of Freiburg (Germany) offers a Postdoc (Theoretical Particle Physics) (f/m/d)
At present, the particle groups at the University of Freiburg consist of the theory groups of S. Dittmaier (focus on electroweak interactions), H.Rzehak (focus on physics beyond the Standard Model), and S. Vogl (focus on astroparticle physics), and the experimental ATLAS groups of K. Jakobs and M. Schumacher, the LHCb group of M. Gersabeck, as well as the astroparticle physics group of M. Schumann.
The position will be associated to the particle theory group of H. Rzehak. Applicants must have experience in Theoretical Particle physics and should exhibit experience in the fields of Beyond the Standard Model physics, Higgs physics, electroweak physics, QCD, and/or the calculation of radiative corrections. Experience with modern computational methods/tools will be beneficial. Applicants must hold a PhD degree or be in the final part of their PhD studies such that it can be expected that they hold a PhD degree by the time of employment.
