The Chair of Forest Growth and Dendroecology: Job advertisement for forest growth data analysis and modeling in the project "Adaptive Forest Site Productivity Assessment" (m/f/a)
Subject to the final allocation of funds, a project position 100 %, E13 TV-L, for 24 months, probably from June 1, 2025, is to be filled at the Chair of Forest Growth and Dendroecology, University Freiburg, in the research and development project "Adaptive Forest Site Productivity Assessment" in the field of forest growth data analysis and modeling.
Project:
The project "Adaptive Forest Site Productivity Assessment Against the Background of Climate-Related Growth Changes (ABO)" is a cooperation project with the State Forestry Administration of Baden-Württemberg, the Forest Research Institute (FVA) of Baden-Württemberg, and the Chair of Forest Growth and Dendroecology (project lead: Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Kahle). The application-oriented research and development project ABO aims to develop a new instrument for sustainable production and utilization planning within the framework of medium-term forestry operational planning, which enables a more flexible, robust and thus more precise prediction of the growth patterns and production potentials of forest stands against the background of climate-related growth changes.
