Pharmazeutische Wissenschaften (Pharmaceutical Sciences)

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

The Master’s programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences enables students to deepen their knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical biology, pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. Students can choose between two specialisations. "Drug Discovery and Delivery" focuses on discovering novel active pharmaceutical ingredients, optimising formulations, and targeted drug delivery. "Regulatory Affairs and Drug Development" addresses drug development and the requirements for the approval of drugs and medical devices. Guidance in independent scientific work is a key objective. In addition to their specialisation, graduates develop a range of skills, including the ability to work independently. The degree qualifies them for responsible roles in the pharmaceutical industry and provides the foundation for a doctorate, enabling entry into an academic career.
