Geographie (Geography)

Polyvalent dual-major bachelor's degree program - Major field (with secondary-school teaching degree option)

Would you like to engage with the regions of the world and their social issues from a variety of perspectives? Are you for instance interested in investigating the causes, consequences and potential for adaptation to climate change? Geography studies will give you the chance to do this and more. Through teaching and independent study, you will gain skills and a thorough knowledge of application and research-oriented natural and social sciences as well as regional geography. The polyvalent dual-major Bachelor qualifies you for the Master of Education, which is the entry to high school teaching and – depending on the choice of the second major – for a range of research and practically-oriented Master degree programs.
