Social Sciences

Master of Arts (M.A.)

The Global Studies Programme (M.A. Social Sciences) is an interdisciplinary programme comprised of sociology, political science, anthropology, and cultural geography. Additional courses may include environmental sciences, economics, and data management. During the two-year programme, students engage with these disciplines at prestigious institutions on at least three continents. In addition, they gain practical insights into potential areas of work during their internship. The cohorts are composed of students from all corners of the globe. This intercultural, interdisciplinary, and intercontinental experience makes students experts in the current facets of globalisation and their study. The Global Studies Programme provides students with the theoretical knowledge, and the methodological and practical skills for comparative analysis of the social, political, economic, and cultural dimensions of globalisation processes in a research-led institutional framework.
