Psychologie (Psychology)

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – 1 field degree program

Studying Psychology at the University of Freiburg allows students to explore how people make decisions, solve problems, and what makes each of us a distinctive individual, while observing, understanding, and explaining human experience and behaviour. The programme provides practice-oriented psychology across a broad range of disciplines. Internships provide insight into the professional day-to-day work of psychologists. Teaching on an equal footing actively involves students – from seminars and exercises to small research projects. Graduates have a wide range of career prospects from diagnostic, advisory, and solution-oriented roles in business, public administration, education, health and social care, to research and teaching. The Bachelor’s also qualifies for psychological and interdisciplinary Master’s programmes, including the Master in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.
