Geographie des Globalen Wandels (Geography of Global Change)

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

The Master’s in Geography of Global Change explores major 21st-century challenges, the roles of politics, economics, and ecology, and how society–environment relationships can be shaped sustainably at global, regional, and local levels. In this programme, students acquire solid theoretical and methodological expertise for analysing complex interrelationships. Practical research experience is gained through project studies and field trips, while elective modules allow to set priorities and develop an interdisciplinary profile. The skills acquired open up a wide range of career opportunities. Graduates work in public administration, consulting firms, research institutions, and national and international organisations.
