Geschichte (History)

Master of Arts (M.A.)

If you are fascinated by history in a "longue durée" from antiquity to the present, then our research-oriented Master's in History is an ideal choice.  An unusually broad range of courses, for example from German, Western and Eastern European, North American and East Asian history, economic, social and environmental history, as well as the history of antiquity and the Middle Ages, gives you the opportunity to expand and deepen your specialist knowledge and methodological skills in an interest-driven manner. In addition, you will specialize in one of the epochs of your choice, in which you will then also write your master's thesis.
