Master of Science (M.Sc.)

The University of Freiburg, in cooperation with Furtwangen University, offers the part-time programme “Interdisciplinary Health Promotion – Modular Training.” Modules in nutrition, sports science, diagnostics, management, health psychology, and workplace health provide evidence-based knowledge and interdisciplinary competencies, with the option to build to a Master’s level. Depending on their interests, students can choose from individual modules, CAS, DAS, or a Master’s (M.Sc.). The interdisciplinary modules target professionals in health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, sports science, health management, medicine, fitness training, and more. Designed for working professionals, the programme offers tailored continuing education for career advancement, professional specialisation, re-entry, or career change, with flexible blended learning combining on-campus weekends and self-study.
