Master of Science (M.Sc.)

The Master’s programme in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy deepens the knowledge acquired in bachelor’s programmes. Over four semesters, students develop competencies across a broad range of research and practice fields in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. The German-taught Master’s programme combines a strong practical component with excellent research. Partner clinics provide placements for all practical activities, while the university psychotherapy centre integrates teaching and practice under one roof. The Master’s programme provides the prerequisites for the state-licensed qualification (Approbation) in psychotherapy. It prepares graduates for professional practice and research across a broad range of fields, including clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
