The BA in Social and Cultural Anthropology provides insight into human diversity, showing how people worldwide organise their social and cultural lives. The programme focuses on contemporary, comparative, and methodologically grounded social and cultural anthropology, with a regional emphasis on Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Collaborations with partners provide practical relevance and research-based learning on globally relevant issues. Students learn to analyse local lifeworlds in a global context and enhance intercultural competence through perspective-taking and reflection, developing key skills for a range of professional fields.
