Pflegewissenschaft (Nursing Sciences)

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) – 1 field degree program

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Nursing Science leads to the professional qualification as a registered nurse and to the academic qualification of a Bachelor of Science. Demographic change, a rising number of people of all ages requiring care, chronic illnesses, and technological and societal changes present professional nursing with complex challenges. This programme contributes to high-quality nursing care tailored to the expectations of patients and their families. University-level nursing education provides more than just the basics of vocational nursing training – it qualifies students for a scientifically sound and future-oriented degree in the nursing profession, with expanded areas of responsibility and duties. Furthermore, the programme forms a foundation for further clinical and academic development.
