Research Interest

The lab is investigating the underlying neural mechanisms and circuits of cognitive movement control. We do so with electrophysiological recordings, Calcium imaging, and optogenetic manipulations combined with behavioral analysis. We look into the local processing of movement preparation and generation in the motor cortex as well as higher order structures, e.g. prefrontal cortex.

What I am looking for in a prospective Rising Star

I look to recruit potential PhDs and PostDocs to work in my lab. The rising stars and I will also work on shared publications and ideally develop future collaborations.
