Brain Oscillation Modulation & Heart–Brain Dynamics
- Assessing how targeted modulation of brain rhythms influences physiological coupling between the brain and heart.
- Working with sleep EEG, heart rate, pulse data, and closed-loop stimulation paradigms.
- Examining heartbeat-evoked potentials (HEPs) and their relationship to ongoing brain oscillations.
- Investigating how cardiac cycle phase affects cognitive processes, including memory retention during and after sleep.
Your Tasks
- EEG prepreprocessing, source analysis and postprocessing
- Heart rate, pulse and respiratory data analysis
- Task-based fMRI (most likely in later stages)
- Heart rate and pulse analysis
- Implementing MATLAB/Python scripts
- Literature review and documentation
