Beyond the Horizons of Psychology: Effective Communication Strategies for Social Movements

A crucial factor for the success of a social movement is its communication: it either mobilizes or frustrates potential supporters, puts pressure on politicians, or gives them the opportunity to marginalize the demands. All the more important is to engage with how we can communicate effectively and purposefully. This seminar provides an overview of the most important practically applicable principles for this purpose. It will cover both public communication and direct communication with potential supporters (organizations/individuals). Many of the strategies are, of course, applicable in various other contexts.
