First Semester Academy

Since 2020, the First-Year Academy Baden-Württemberg Future-Ready has existed as an inspiring collaboration of dedicated students from six universities in Baden-Württemberg. The goal is to support first-year students who are passionate about sustainability and want to actively integrate it into their university experience.

The project days are aimed at first-year students from all disciplines and offer you the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas in an open and creative atmosphere, as well as explore the city. Through workshops, lectures, a city tour, and plenty of personal interaction, we explore sustainability from various perspectives. We invite you to explore and critically question action options in light of current global challenges. In addition, you will get to know the diverse university initiatives and organizations that are active on this topic in Freiburg.
