Clothing Swap Party & DRK Workshop

Throwing away old clothes is a waste. What one person no longer likes might be loved by someone else. So feel free to come to our clothes swap party at the Tanzbrunnen. It would be nice to both give and take, but if you have nothing to donate, that’s okay too.

Stefanie Münch, the head of the DRK second-hand store, invites you to a small workshop. Even the nicest T-shirts eventually get worn out or develop holes. In just a few minutes, you can transform an old T-shirt into trendy multipurpose ribbon yarn using clever cutting techniques. This yarn can be used as a practical everyday tool like a string or alternatively, with thick crochet or knitting needles, be further crafted into soap dishes, baskets, bags, rugs, and much more. T-shirts, scissors, and crochet hooks will be provided.
