Alternative Futures, Possible Presents

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the University of Bristol Liberal Arts is hosting a symposium on 20 May 2025 showcasing original undergraduate research and student-led reflection on liberal education. Students of any Liberal Arts program from around Europe are invited to submit proposals. The symposium theme is “Alternative Futures, Possible Presents” and contributions which speak to this theme are particularly encouraged. However, ‘open’ proposals from students interested in other topics are also welcome. Non-traditional approaches as well as presentations are welcome. Deadline for proposals is 1 April 2025. The symposium hopes to build connections between Liberal Arts students at different universities, and the organizers would love to see as many programs represented as possible. ECOLAS will provide a travel grant of €200 for 5 students. You can apply by sending us your proposal or contribution that you wish to present at the conference. Please, send the proposal by 15 April to info@ecolas.eu.
