LFK Media Prize 2025 for LAS students
Leonie Zwiessler, a current LAS student, and Anna Tsedik, now an LAS alum, were awarded the LFK Media Prize 2025 in the young talent category!
In their film “Kampf um den Dietenbachwald”, Leonie and Anna discuss the urban planning and political backgrounds of the new Freiburg city district “Dietenbach” with a broad range of stakeholders. The film was developed and produced as part of the UCF / LAS seminar “Journalism” by Prof. Sabine Rollberg and Uwe Nüssle (University Library Media Center).

The “Landesanstalt für Kommunikation Baden-Württemberg” awards the LFK Media Prize in order to promote the quality and creativity of journalistic offerings as well as media diversity. The competition and award ceremony also aim to showcase and recognize the attractiveness and performance of Baden-Württemberg’s broadcasting and social media landscape.
Atmospheric images, interesting sound bites and diverse perspectives – a very well-crafted report. The authors tell the story in a balanced and completely neutral way, so that everyone can form their own opinion on this very exciting topic.
