Welcome to the Chair of Educational Psychology

In our EPIC lab (Educational Psychology for Innovation and Change), we study how motivation, self-regulation, and feedback foster effective teaching and learning – and how education can be enhanced through evidence-based, digitally supported, and motivating learning environments.

In our research and teaching, we integrate psychological foundations with applied, evidence-based, and interdisciplinary perspectives across school, higher education, and achievement contexts to understand and foster effective learning and instruction processes.
