Scientific Career Development for Researchers after their Doctorate

Freiburg’s University Medicine aims to provide researchers in basic science, translational research, and clinical research with optimal conditions to pursue their individual career paths – from their early stages and beyond. Transparent organizational structures, career counseling services and qualification programs catering to various career phases help in ensuring that the balancing act between clinical work, research, teaching and private life can be managed and careers can be planned flexibly and individually.

With these measures in place, we offer scientists an ideal environment to conduct cutting-edge research and to develop further in their diverse and demanding roles.

On this website, we present tailor-made offerings from Freiburg’s University Medicine for academics in all career stages after their doctorate.
