Currently, I am working at UCF as a student assistant, specifically supporting the course “Students and other Knowers in Context”. I have enjoyed teaching supporting classes for a few years now, starting in 2022 at the Institute of Ethnology in Göttingen.
My background is twofold: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences where I studied the earth’s system and gained a basic understanding of climate change. Due to my interest in equality I took up Social and Cultural Anthropology as a second Bachelor, concentrating on understanding climate change from the social science perspective. My focus shifted to social initiatives and their momentum of change, which lead to the topic of my thesis “Social initiatives and their transformative powers in Göttingen’s Maschviertel”.
Now I am studying Geography of Global Change (MSc) in Freiburg, where I can balance my two interests of natural and social sciences while focusing on inequalities and movements that counter them.
