IberoCultura – Spanische Sprache, Literatur und Kultur (IberoCultura – Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture)

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) – 2 field degree program - Major Field

IberoCultura combines linguistic, literary, and cultural studies of the Spanish- and Ibero-Romance-speaking world, providing in-depth access to the languages, histories, and cultural diversity of Spain and Latin America. The programme integrates cultural reflection, language practice, and literary analysis. Electives allow students to specialise in topics such as migration, Indigenous cultures, or social transformation. Recommended study abroad deepens engagement with Hispanic and Ibero-Romance contexts and fosters intercultural competence. Students develop fluent Spanish and a deep understanding of linguistic, cultural, and historical interrelations. These skills open career paths in cultural work, media, international cooperation, business, education, and provide access to further master’s-level study in language, culture, or area studies.
