The Educational Science and Educational Management major provides a solid, interdisciplinary foundation in learning, teaching, and educational processes, including their analysis, planning, and evaluation. The programme emphasises combining learning psychology and educational science with practical relevance. Students deepen theoretical knowledge in human resources, organisational development, educational management, and e-learning, while learning to apply basic educational research methods effectively. Graduates can work in companies, adult and continuing education, universities, NGOs, or as freelancers. They are qualified to design learning environments, manage educational programmes, conduct research, make evidence-based decisions, and support HR and organisational development.

Selection procedure
Weighted individual grades in the German higher education entrance qualification and, where applicable, extracurricular activities

Germans and EU citizens: 90% of study spaces are granted in a selection procedure and 10% after a waiting period. Non-EU citizens (without German school-leaving certificate): do not take part in this selection procedure. Study spaces are granted according to a quota of 8% of the available spaces.
